The white diamond scale runs from D
color on top to Z color on the bottom. Once the color becomes much
more yellow than Z color and drops much further down the white
color scale the Canary yellow colors start to appear. The first
color to appear is the fancy light yellow followed by fancy yellow
and Intense yellow. The last color to appear is the vivid yellow.

Canary
or as they are also known as Fancy Yellow diamonds are the
rarest diamonds today. Only 1 out of 1000 diamonds fit the
Canary diamonds or yellow diamonds classification.
We recommend placing a Canary diamond between 2 colorless
diamonds of the highest magnitude (D color) in order to bring
out the depth and fire of the Canary diamond. By placing a
yellow diamond next to a D colored diamond the contrast
between the two colors is remarkable.
